Brain Rules by Dr John Medina — A Video to Make Your Brain Work Better
This video is a recording of Dr John Medina talking (in May last year. Sorry it’s late a long while ago. Sorry it’s very late.) about 2-and-a-bit rules from his book Brain Rules, about how the brain learns and how to get the most out of it. There are twelve rules covered in the book, available here. I think his arguments in this presentation are thoroughly supported by evidence and worth incorporating into daily life. As soon as I get a chance I will be *devouring* Brain Rules.
It’s a long video (52-odd minutes), recorded at a presentation for Google employees, but in the last 30 seconds he confirms a position I have been arguing for years.
What, you ask? You’ll have to watch and find out. Here it is:
Very good information that resonated with my experiences BIG TIME. Sucks that my walking probably doesn’t get to 80% level. Be interested to know if he expands on any kind of feedback happening e.g. exercise to brain back to more exercise like ‘ natural endorphin’ junkies, but with other ‘rules’.
